The CAB is a copyrighted 11 x 17 dry erase board that was developed by nurse Laura Padron to be utilized by health care providers on a daily or shift to shift basis. It should be mounted in units so all staff members know their roles. Roles are assigned at the beginning of the shift. Instructions for individual roles are detailed on the board.
